PLAYER SKATES
EASTON SYNERGY 1500 HOCKEY SKATE

The 1500C is the highest technology skate on the market. This skate is designed not only to give you more support, protection and comfort, but also to help you skate with more power, snap and speed.

Upgrades over the 1200C
Higher grade carbon fiber in the coil portion of the skate (81:15 split of carbon and glass vs. a 70:30 split on the 1200C.

Higher grade Clarino liner that gives a more supple fit and more long term durability
Super tough composite construction gives higher levels of impact protection than the 1200C.

Coil Technology
The Synergy 1500C is engineered with "Coil Technology" a performance enhancing technology design; the skate flexes, stores and releases energy (similar to your flexing "loading energy" on a Synergy stick for shot power) for increased performance/speed like no other skate you have seen or worn. This skate is so light and completely weight balanced: it feels like a sneaker on your foot. This is a must have for any player wanting the best performance or a player who wants to improve their game. Prior to the Coil Technology, upper end skates only had lighter weight or higher support/protection to offer. This is now changed forever with
the Coil Technology offering not only lighter weight and more protection/support but also higher levels of performance.

Advantages of Composite Skate Construction
Advantage 1: Weight
Easton's One Piece Composite shell eliminates all the separate components that make up a traditional skate. These components make up a traditional skate: Outsole, Toe Cap, Heel Counter, Mid Sole, Tendon Insert, Ankle Guard, Layers of reinforcement. These multiple layers compound weight and absorb moisture. Easton's One-Piece composite shell distributes the weight across the entire skate to make the skate incredibly balanced like no other skate. The weight is completely balanced which makes the skate feel even lighter when worn unlike a traditional skate where weight is mostly concentrated at the heel and base of skate.

Advantage 2: Performance
The Synergy 1500C will outperform any other skate on the market with its unique Coil technology. Imagine being able to load (flex) a skate like a high performance Synergy stick and then using that stored energy for a more explosive stride (harder shot with stick). Easton's One-piece composite shell was engineered with flex points in crucial areas where foot flexes to generate energy to stride (Push off). The super responsive carbon and Aramid composite shell material transfers this energy to skate for maximum forward flexion (forward stride power) and returns this energy to spring skate back during leg extension at the end of each stride. The One-Piece composite shell flex points work (direct energy) together providing the skater with unparalleled energy return = More Speed with same stride. Traditional skates do not have a one-piece construction with engineered energy flex points and cannot work together to maximize energy transfer. Most energy is lost through the separate component construction.

Advantage 3: Comfort
The One Piece Composite shell weight advantages allow Easton to use higher-grade comfort features to provide the ultimate in comfort and performance. Traditional skates must sacrifice comfort features in order to reduce overall weight of skates. Ankle foams are thinner, less support material used due to reduce weight. Easton has upgraded the comfort features due to One-Piece composite shell weight advantages. The ergonomic ''Air'' foamed latex ankle padding system comfortable secures the heel. An anatomical Ideal Fit tongue with felt/foam combination gives immediate fit and lace bite protection. BIO DRI Clarino lining combines instant comfort and moisture wicking feature. One-Piece construction is seamless; eliminating the seam lines where traditional toecap attaches to boot maximizes Synergy skate forefoot and toe comfort. Pressure points and blister zones usually occur around seam lines in traditional skates.

Advantage 4: Protection
The super tough composite construction provides unmatched protection against puck impact when tested at speeds in excess of 90 MPH. The One-Piece Composite material absorbs and defects impacts instead of the foot.

Advantage 5: Durability
Easton's One-Piece composite construction eliminates skate components that break down in skates prematurely. The One-Piece composite ensures consistent support and will not soften over time due to wear and moisture. The glue/sewn construction breaks down (support softens) quickly with regular use sacrificing performance and energy transfer. Traditional materials absorb moisture resulting in decreased support, increased weight, and decreased skate life. Players prefer composite/graphite sticks, shafts, and blades because each stick/shaft/blade is consistent stick after stick & shot after shot. In the same way, the Synergy skate gives consistent flex & support stride after stride. Synergy Skates will not stretch or lose support (soften) giving perfect fit & support throughout the life of the skate.

Other Great Features
Minimal break-in time. For this year, the Coil technology skates can be heat molded. This is not a necessity. You can simply wear the skates, and they will mold to your feet as you skate. Easton's Dry Flow system drains the moisture and excess heat created during play by 15% or more; so they stay lighter and dryer game after game. LPS2 Lite Parabolic Stainless Steel runner design reduces needless runner weight by 25% vs. traditional runner to increase foot speed. By creating a space between the holder and runner, the steel is able to flex in perfect arc during turns for a sharper radius and deeper dig during starts and stops. Laser cut to ensure consistent quality and performance. The Razor Bladz II Holder utilizes lightweight injected Zytel construction. Two-sided hardware attachment system for easy runner replacement. Kevlar reinforced boot rivet areas for vibration dampening and reinforced holder attachment to boot.
